This photo has a deep meaning to me because it is one of the first times I witnessed suffering when I was younger. I didn’t fully understand what the photo meant, I remember thinking, why is the child’s belly so big and why are their legs so skinny. It really opened my eyes from my limited bubble of understanding of the real world. It is sad to know that my reality was so different that I couldn’t understand their suffering, yet the children in the photo were having to live it around the same age.
In this image, it looks like a horrific scene of a mother lioness eating her child. It invokes feelings of anger and sorrow.
This photo shows another version of the story, a mother lion simply carrying her cub around. This photo brings a sense of relief after viewing the first version.
Although it was hard to find exact information on this specific model, the inventor of the digital camera was Steven Sasson. The rebel T7 camera is a 24.1 megapixel CMOS sensor with ISO 100-6400. It also has DIGIC 4 image processor, which creates a fast and responsive shooting experience.
One of the main reasons I bought this camera is because it’s built in wifi-function which allows me to directly connect my phone to my camera for easy access to photos.
This camera is also a great base camera because it is compatible with most canon lenses.
This is a very interesting source because it explores the different amounts paparazzi photographers make based on the content of the image. Ranging from $5000-$15,000 the article states, based on the content.
This source interested me because it not only shows the assumed net worth of Disney, which is 67 billion, but it also shows all the different companies attached to Disney which are also bringing in money, for example Pixar.
This is insane to me. Although the exact number wasn’t disclosed, kris Jenner states that her daughters make definitely 6 figures for one singular ad post on Instagram. It is crazy to see the influence that having a following can have, that ad companies are willing to pay that much to advertise their product, knowing it will bring in more sales.
Ansel Adams was an influential landscape photographer known for his black and white images of the west. He was born on February 20th, 1902 in San Fransico, California. Adams was an environmentalist and his passion for photography revolved around this love of nature. He was best known for his ultra-sharp landscape images using a 4×5 view camera.
Dogwood Blossoms (1938)
Adam’s photography impacted society and he has been described as the most important landscape photographer of the 20th century. Ansel’s photography had a major impact on the American conservation movement, being able to capture nature’s raw beauty and contribute to the preservation of this beauty.
Oak Tree, Sunset City (1962)Shore, South of Timber Cove (1960)
I chose Ansel Adams for this research project because I admire the passion he had for nature and how it translates into his passion for photography. His art captures the untouched natural beauty of the world. To Adams his work had a purpose, it came from a place of emotion and passion.
Monolith, The Face of the Half Dome (1927)
Adams died on April 22, 1984, in Carmel, California. Although he is no longer on this earth his passion will continue to live on in the art he left behind.
I chose this photo to represent a huge part of my young life. Kung-fu. For about 6 years I competed in tournaments all around the world and even got the opportunity to join team Canada and compete in Costa Rica, taking home a gold and silver medal. My family is a huge part of who I am, and I chose this photo to represent how growing up with my siblings was. I have 10 siblings in total, many of which are way older, but in this photo is Mikaela my closest in age sister. This is a photo of myself and another one of my sisters Kelly. I chose this to represent me because we were cheering for a sports team (I don’t remember which) but sports have always been a huge part of my life.
